Today in maths we moved ourselves along the place value grid to make numbers 10 x or 100 x bigger. We then had a go at multiplying decimals.
Today in Science we looked at the cross section of a tooth before making posters about teeth in different animals.
We were lucky to take part in a great workshop today learning all about Harvest.
I was so proud of this Guided Reading group. They used the book to find evidence and included page numbers and quotes in their writing. Wow! Super stars!
Today we began planning what we are
going to write on our Wiki that we are creating about Abbots Langley School. We are going to be learning lots of new ICT skills.
Today forest school became very messy. We created our own digestive system using branflakes, cocktail sausages and apple juice. We then wrote recounts about what we did.

Yesterday we looking at acting skills in Literacy and got into the role of the character thinking carefully about their feelings.

Today we went into the forest to build skeletons out of leaves and twigs. We thought carefully about including knee caps and ribs to make them as accurate as possible.
